Internship Placement at Hayes Middle School, Grand Ledge, MI 
7th Grade World History

  • Served  a meaningful and enlightening, year-long internship learning from mentor and experiencing what it means to teach.

  • Taught a focus class for an entire school year and assumed lead teaching responsibilities for 4 classes over 10 weeks.

  • Designed curricula & assessments for 3 units based on state standards and student learning styles. 

  • Examined the effects of technology on classroom management and student learning by implementing a variety of multi-media and instructional platforms throughout 1 unit. Presented findings of the proposed study at the “Social Studies Intern Conference” hosted by the College of Education at Michigan State University
